I love NC and as a relatively recent transplant I can still offer the newcomer perspective. I love living in Davidson and feel the town offers a unique small town feel not typically found in this part of the country.

About:

My family relocated to NC in January of 2006. We moved from Westchester County, NY, although I grew up in Norwalk, Ct. I love the Lake Norman area and can't fathom ever moving back to NY. I worked and lived in and around NYC for more than 20 years and loved it at the time. I worked in the financial markets trading and selling short term securities. This experience provided a great background to work with buyers and sellers in real estate. I have a good sense of interest rate movements and supply and demand factors that affect pricing in the real estate market. I spent more than 20 years dealing with decision makers trading millions of dollars worth of securities. I am accustomed to the stress of deals and have the capacity to understand and evaluate everything involved in a real estate transaction. My husband Alan and I met in the financial markets. He now works for the Federal Reserve Bank. He transferred here to work for the Fed in Charlotte after working for the Fed in NY. Alan grew up in Winston Salem so we were returning to his Southern roots. We have 3 children, a daughter in grad school at Vanderbilt, another going to college next year...hopefully Chapel Hill where she has just been accepted, and a son who is a freshman in HS at Hough HS. I love to spend time with my family and my business and when I have some free time I love to play tennis.
