Abstract:

This invention is directed to relational extenders for a computer-based relational database. Each relational extender includes at least one column, in a first, business, table containing a user defined application database, dedicated to object handles for defining the complex data type of an object; a second, attribute, table containing at least one column defining a unique characteristic associated with the one object and one column dedicated to containing the object handle; and a third, metadata, table containing at least one column defining a common characteristic associated with all objects defined within the business table and one column dedicated to containing the object handle and at least one column dedicated to containing a reference to object data associated with the object. The relational extender further includes a fourth table containing a reference to each object handle column defined in the first table, a fifth table containing the names of the second and third tables for each object defined in the first table, a sixth table containing a reference to each object handle removed from the first table and including one column dedicated to containing a reference to the location of the object data associated with the removed object handle, and a seventh table having at least one column which describes a property of the data type of each object defined in the first table. The relational extender further includes an eighth table as a temporary holding table for the second table, and a ninth table as a temporary holding table for the third table.

Abstract:

A distributed system of scanning nodes is provided job portions to collectively scan network systems numbering in the tens of thousands and beyond million across the Internet. A scanning controller creates the job portions to fulfill a scanning request. The scanning controller creates the job portions based on availability of scanning nodes and a size of the scanning request (i.e., number of network addresses indicated by the request). The scanning controller creates each job portion with scanning instructions for an available scanning node to execute on a selected set of the network addresses indicated in the request, with each job portion having a different set of addresses to scan and being independently executable.

Abstract:

Techniques to update a web application are described. A method includes receiving an application update request for a requested web application from a service worker web application executing in a web browser on a client device, the application update request comprising a cached version indicator for a local cached copy of the requested web application on the client device; determining whether an updated requested web application is available based on the cached version indicator. When the cached version indicator is less than a current version indicator, an archived copy of the previous version of the requested web application indicated by the cached version indicator and a current copy of the current version of the requested web application are retrieved, and a delta update is generated based on the archived copy and current copy. The delta update is sent to the service worker web application. Other embodiments are described and claimed.

A system for scanning a network includes an interface and a processor. The interface is configured to receive an indication to scan a set of network addresses. The processor is configured to determine a set of available scanning nodes and determine a job plan for scanning the set of network addresses using the set of available scanning nodes. The job plan includes one or more job portions. The processor is configured to, for a job portion of the one or more job portions, select a scanning node of the set of available scanning nodes and provide the job portion to the scanning node.

Abstract:

An electric vehicle support equipment (EVSE) system that includes a nozzle () configured to couple to an electric vehicle, the nozzle including a first microcontroller (MCU). The EVSE also includes a charging circuit interrupt device (CCID) configured to couple to a power source, the CCID including a second MCU and a cable that is coupled between the CCID and the nozzle. The CCID is configured to receive a pilot signal from the electric vehicle, the pilot signal conveying pilot information, and overlay additional information onto the pilot signal.
