Abstract:

An advertising proxy server enables limited-functionality web browsers, such as those commonly installed on mobile devices, to display web page content quickly, without incurring the delay normally associated with displaying web pages containing advertisements. When such a web browser requests a web page containing advertisements from a web server, the web server: (1) serves the main web page content to the web browser; and (2) instructs the advertising proxy server to retrieve the web page's advertising content. The web browser may render the main web page content while the advertising proxy server is retrieving the advertising content from a conventional advertising server. The web browser requests the advertising content from the advertising proxy server, which serves the advertising content, when available, to the web browser, which then renders the advertising content. The web browser may perform these functions without the need to execute JavaScript or other non-HTML code.

Abstract:

A tilting support or work bucket, or apparatus for an aerial lift including a support frame for supporting an operator. The support frame can have a seat for supporting the operator when in an upright position and a chest support having a portion above and forward of the seat for supporting a chest of the operator when in a forwardly downward tilted position while allowing arms of the operator to extend forwardly out of the support frame. A support member can be pivotably mounted to the support frame at a pivot joint that is located at an upper portion of the support frame when the support frame is in the upright position, for pivotably supporting the support frame. An actuator can be included for positionably rotating the support frame relative to the support member about the pivot joint between the upright position and the forwardly downward tilted position. Since the pivot joint is located in the upper portion of the support frame, pivoting of the support frame from the upright position to the forwardly downward tilted position moves a center of gravity of the support frame rearwardly in the direction of the support member.

The present invention provides a sealing apparatus for a window shade that is vertically raised and lowered. The sealing apparatus can include a first side seal assembly having a first side air seal member that is vertically oriented. The first side seal member can be movably connected to a first side frame member by a first movable arrangement for moving the first side seal member laterally into and out of sealing position relative to a first side of the window shade.
