The speedboat's operator, 50-year-old Mark Michels of Eau Claire, Wis., was killed, along with three people on the Princecraft: Luke Pohl, 25, of Elk River; Matthew Simonson, 28, of Brooklyn Park and Matthew Overhulser, 28, of Eau Claire, Wis.

Two bodies recovered from Chippewa River on Sunday morning
's Office says Luke Pohl's body was found by a kayaker around 8 a.m. Sunday near Riverview Park. A second body was then discovered around 9:45 a.m. north of Riverview Park. Law enforcement believes that to be Matthew Simonson's body, but a positive identification has not been made at this point.
Three passengers on the larger boat also were killed. Matthew Overhulser, 28, of Eau Claire, was found dead Friday. The bodies of Luke Pohl, 25, of Elk River, Minn., and Matthew Simonson, 28, of Brooklyn Park, Minn., were found Sunday morning.

Boats collide on Wis. river; 2 men dead, 2 missing
Crews searched Saturday for the two missing men: Luke Pohl, 25, and Matthew Simonson, 28, whose hometowns were not released. The efforts were complicated by a morning thunderstorm, fast river current, debris and other river traffic, The Chippewa Herald reported.
Dive teams and rescue crews were continuing to search Saturday evening for the two missing pontoon passengers, a relative of Pohl's, Luke Pohl, 25, and another wedding party member, Matthew Simonson, 28.
