Embodiments relate to selecting and verifying textures in image-based three-dimensional modeling. In a first embodiment, a computer-implemented method for texturing a three-dimensional model. In the method, a polygon orientation of a polygon defining a face of a three-dimensional model is determined. A first camera orientation corresponding to a camera that took a first photographic image in a set of photographic images is also determined. The first photographic image is unconstrained to the three-dimensional model. The polygon orientation is compared with the first camera orientation to determine whether the first photographic image is directed toward the face of the three-dimensional model. If the first photographic image is directed toward the face of the three-dimensional model, a notification is provided for display to a user indicating that the first photographic image could be texture mapped to the three-dimensional model if the first photographic image is constrained to the three-dimensional model.

Abstract:
Embodiments relate to a coated substrate and a method of making and using the same. A plasma-spray coated layer may be formed on a substrate, wherein the plasma-sprayed coated layer comprises a rare-earth oxide (e.g., yttrium oxide), a rare-earth fluoride (e.g. yttrium fluoride), or a rare-earth silicate (e.g. yttrium silicate). An exposed surface of the plasma-spray coated layer may be irradiated to form a treated portion of the layer, wherein the treated portion of the layer has a mean spacing of local peaks (S value) between about 100 and 200 microns. A second layer may be formed on the treated portion of the plasma-spray coated layer, wherein the second layer comprises a dielectric material.
Multi-Zone Silicon Nitride Wafer Heater Assembly Having Corrosion Protective Layer, And Methods Of Making And Using The Same
A wafer heater assembly comprises a heater substrate and a non-porous outermost layer. The heater substrate comprises silicon nitride (SiN) and includes at least one heating element embedded therein. The non-porous outermost layer is associated with at least a first surface of the heater substrate. The non-porous outermost layer comprises a rare-earth (RE) disilicate (RESiO); where RE is one of Yb and Y. The non-porous outermost layer includes an exposed surface configured to contact a wafer for heating, the exposed surface opposite the first surface of the heater substrate. Methods of making wafer heater assemblies are also disclosed as well as methods of using the wafer heater assembly.

Abstract:
A sapphire substrate includes a generally planar surface having a crystallographic orientation selected from the group consisting of a-plane, r-plane, m-plane, and c-plane orientations, and having a nTTV of not greater than about 0.037 μm/cm, wherein nTTV is total thickness variation normalized for surface area of the generally planar surface, the substrate having a diameter not less than about 9.0 cm.
