I received letters of excellence for setting up and managing the first emergency light battery shop in Miami at the time. I maintained all the different emergency batteries and chargers for service. I was required to charge and maintain the components by following the GSERS and inspection procedures as well as the equipment and chargers. I had to accomplish all tests daily and comply with the FAA regulations at all times. I passed every spot inspection and compliance inspection as the Avionics Crew Chief for AA in Miami. Letters were placed in my file for excellence.
