Abstract:

Adapter module securable to a socket frame, integrated circuit module assembly and method for securing a heat dissipation device in direct thermal communication with an integrated circuit module. The socket frame is positioned over a substrate having a land grid array and the frame is secured to the substrate. The frame defines a well for selectively receiving the integrated circuit module in electronic communication with the land grid array. The adapter module is secured to the frame and extends outside the perimeter of the frame. The adapter provides a feature outside the perimeter of the frame for fastening the heat dissipation device. Furthermore, the adapter body is secured to the frame without adding holes through the substrate, such as by extending under the frame to be secured between the frame and substrate, or by extending over the frame to be secured between the frame and fasteners.

A pharmaceutical dispensing system includes: a frame having opposed replenishment and dispensing sides; a plurality of bins configured to house pharmaceutical tablets, each of the bins being accessible from the replenishment of the frame for replenishment of pharmaceutical tablets; a plurality of chutes, each of the chutes connected to and associated with a respective one of the plurality of bins, each of the chutes being accessible from the dispensing side of the frame for dispensing of pharmaceutical tablets; a controller operatively associated with the plurality of bins and the plurality of chutes; a replenishment side security camera mounted on the replenishment side of the frame and connected with the controller, the replenishment side security camera being configured to take an image of a person positioned to access the plurality of bins; and a dispensing side security camera mounted on the dispensing side of the frame and connected with the controller, the dispensing side security camera being configured to take an image of a person positioned to access the plurality of chutes.

A crown for a pharmaceutical tablet packaging machine includes: a generally cylindrical hub having an upper end and a lower end; a generally disc-shaped divider mounted to the upper end of the hub, the divider having upper and lower surfaces and a plurality of radially-extending teeth; and a cap mounted to the upper surface of the divider, the cap having an upper surface comprising a plurality of alternating hummocks and furrows. The present specification describes a medicine dispensing system for automatically dispensing medication at a predetermined time. The system includes a cartridge that carries a strip of medicine pouches. When the cartridge is dropped into a dispensing unit, it automatically aligns with the dispensing unit without requiring any installation work from the user. The automatic alignment is enabled because of self-aligning features manufactured in the cartridge housing.
