Abstract:

A moving target system for defensive training includes an elongated ground-based track defining a track axis, a trolley operable to move along the track, the trolley having a target support facility, a driver operable to move the trolley along the track, and the target facing in a direction angularly offset from perpendicular to the track axis. The target support facility may be operable to fall from a vertical position when the trolley reaches an end of the track. There may be an actuator operably connected to the driver to initiate movement of the trolley when actuated.

Shooting target assemblies have a post element having spaced-apart upper first and second protrusions defining an elongated target receptacle slot, the target receptacle slot having a closed lower end and an open upper end, a target plate having a main portion and an elongated stem portion extending from the main portion, the stem portion having parallel stem legs spaced apart to define a stem slot, a bridge portion connected between the stem legs away from the main portion and defining a lower end of the stem slot, the stem slot of the target plate being adapted to closely receive one of the first and second protrusions of the post element, and the target receptacle slot of the post element being adapted to closely receive the bridge portion of the target plate. The target receptacle slot may have a slot width adapted to closely receive the bridge.

Abstract:

Portable ballistic divider walls have a plurality of wall panels each having a body portion with opposed body edges and a face panel with opposed face edges, the face panel being formed of a ballistic-resistant material, the wall panels having fastener facilities operable to connect a body edge of each body portion with a respective adjacent body edge of an adjacent body portion, the face panel having a flange portion extending beyond the body edge, and the flange portion being operable to cover a seam between abutting body edges. The fastener facilities may be operable to secure adjacent wall panels in an angled relationship, while the flange covers the entirety of a seam between the adjacent body portions. The body portions have a body thickness, and the flanges may have a width at least 57% of the body thickness. There may be a brace assembly attached to the body portion.

Abstract:

A ballistic wall structure has a primary wall panel formed of a ballistic-resistant material, the primary wall panel having a bottom edge adjacent to a floor surface, and extending to an upper edge above head level, a removable secondary wall panel formed of ballistic-resistant material and removably supported adjacent to the primary wall panel, the secondary wall panel having a lower edge at a first level, and an upper edge at a second level, the first level being at a level above the bottom edge of the primary wall panel, and the second level being at a level below the upper edge of the primary wall panel, such that the secondary wall panel bears the effects of bullet strikes at an intermediate level, and may be replaced as wear becomes excessive without replacing the primary wall panel. There may be a curtain layer adjacent to the primary and secondary wall panels.
