Skills:
Overall Background: 25 plus years trouble shooting technical issues. Initial electronics training was provided by the military as an encryption technician. I have excellent hardware skills on a variety of hardware platforms, AMD, Intel, Sun, HP, SGI and Dec Alpha, as well as several embedded devices including microchip and PLCs. I have worked with Electrical engineers building High end audio amplifiers from schematics, blue prints and 3d models. Implemented engineering test changes at board level. Hand built prototype amps, pre-amps and test rigs using hand and power tools. Tested all built equipment using a variety of test equipment including signal generators oscilloscopes and audio precision test equipment. Other responsibilities included trade show and demo load outs and setup. I have provided direct technical support for end users optimizing, configuring individual machines for a mathematical programming language and other related products. I also assisted network administrators in configuring licensing controls of the product across a variety of networked and virtual environments.
