In over two decades as a Central Virginia Real Estate agent and an Associate Broker; I’ve come to find a healthy balance. I am passionate about what I do, but am just as passionate (and even more so) about my family! In a world of fast-paced, non-stop living and a very competitive line of work; I’ve found the way to be the best at what I do is to stop. I am blessed to have married my wife Lisa in 1981, and to have two great children Andrew and Ashley. Although being in real estate means being on call nearly 24/7; I’ve discovered that taking moments to stop and spend quality time with my family is vital to my personal and professional success! Throughout the years, I’ve been involved with coaching various sports for my son and daughter. We’ve also placed a priority on family vacations as that time gives us all an opportunity to reconnect and refresh! Of course, behind many great families is a dog. Ours happens to be a Maltese named Chester; whom has seemed to be the missing link that completed the May family! Because I’ve found a healthy balance; my professional life has flourished. I also am involved with various Real Estate Associations that give me the opportunity for endless resources and the latest in cutting edge technology and real estate practices. Another asset for my clients is my local experience. I was born in Dinwiddie County and haven’t moved since!
