Double board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery, Dr. Nagy graduated Summa Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in biology/pre-medicine from the University of Scranton in Pennsylvania. He earned his doctorate at the University of Cincinnati Medical College. After completing a five-year general surgery residency at the renowned Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Dr. Nagy, a Monsignor Donovan H.S. alumnus, returned to the shore area to practice as a general surgeon. He pursued additional training after two years in practice and was accepted into a Fellowship specializing in cosmetic and breast surgery with an additional two years of plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. He is one of the areas premier plastic surgeons, and exudes not only a knowledge and skill of surgical excellence, but a caring and compassion for his patients unparalleled by other surgeons.
