Abstract:
The gas monitoring system may include a gas line, an oxygen sensor, a filter, a pump, a indicator, and a controller. The gas line is configured to convey gas from a space configured to receive inert gas to a location remote from the space. The oxygen sensor is fluidly coupled to the gas line at the location. The oxygen sensor is configured to determine a partial pressure of oxygen present in the gas. The filter is fluidly coupled to the gas line between the space and the location. The filter is configured to remove combustible contaminants from the gas before it reaches the oxygen sensor. The controller is electrically coupled to the oxygen sensor and to the indicator. The controller is configured to activate the indicator when the partial pressure of oxygen exceeds a predetermined level.

Abstract:
An aircraft refueling system incorporates a fuel port adapter configured to allow the use of jet fuel nozzle spout but prevent the use of avgas nozzle spout. The device has an opening that configured to receive a standard jet fuel nozzle spout. The device also includes a blocking plate that prevents a smaller, round standard avgas nozzle spout from being inserted into the opening. In addition, the device includes one or more spring-loaded flapping doors to prevent incorrect refueling while the jet fuel nozzle spout is not inserted through the flapping doors.

Abstract:
A sealing lid assembly used in connection with a service port, the sealing lid assembly including a cap; a plug extending from an underside of the cap and at least partially receivable in the service port, a first seal supported on the plug and extending radially outward therefrom to sealingly engage the service port when the cap is in a closed position; and a biasing assembly adapted to urge the cap toward the closed position.
A filter assembly comprising a housing, a filter, a heater, hose fittings, a heat bridge, and insulators. The housing defines interior and exterior regions communicating through apertures. The filter separate the housing into a region upstream of the filter comprising an aperture, and a region downstream of the filter comprising an aperture. The heater extends into the interior region. The hose fittings are each coincident with an aperture and are formed of a material having a high thermal conductivity. The heat bridge is formed of a material having a high thermal conductivity and thermally connects the heater to the hose fittings. The insulators each are formed of a material having a low thermal conductivity, and each at least partially cover a hose fitting.

Abstract:
An aqueous fluid filter assembly with aeration mitigation includes a cap, a bowl engaging the cap and defining a filter volume, and a filter element disposed in the filter volume. The filter element is sealed against an interior of the cap and an interior of the bowl to provide an unfiltered volume and a filtered volume. An inlet is in fluid communication with the unfiltered volume and an outlet is in fluid communication with the filtered volume via a pickup section. The pickup section has a pick-up section inlet extending into the filtered volume and an air-metering orifice, wherein the air-metering orifice has a diameter less than 30% of the diameter of the pick-up section inlet and the pick-up section inlet is located below the air-metering orifice.

Abstract:
A housing assembly for a fluid sensor assembly includes a housing having a first and second sensing volumes. A fluid port attached to the housing has a porous membrane covering first and second fluid apertures. The first sensing volume included a vertically-oriented waveguide and is fluidly coupled to an exterior of the housing through the first fluid aperture, where the first aperture port has an area smaller than an area of a cross section of the waveguide. The second sensing volume is coupled to the exterior of the housing through the second fluid aperture, the second fluid aperture having an area larger than a cross section of the second sensing volume. While the first sensing volume and the second sensing volume are both in fluid communication with an exterior of the housing, the fluid port and porous membrane internally isolate the first sensing volume from the second sensing volume.
