Description:
The 4th of 5 boys born to a career Navy Master Chief and a Registered Nurse, I don't remember a dull moment. My family moved from where I was born in Norfolk Virginia to Indianapolis, Indiana when I was 6 years old. It was great to grow up in a neighborhood where I could leave in the morning, play all day and come home in time for dinner - without worry of safety. It was always exciting to be loaded into the wood paneled station wagon each summer and travel to see the extended family in Butler Pennsylvania and Greenfield Massachusetts. I can still pick up the accents of the areas to this day. After graduation from High School, I joined the navy to see the world, earn my college education money and have the benefit of the GI bill to buy a home. I fell in love with San Diego and decided to stay here. I worked my way through San Diego State University to attain a Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Public Relations and a minor in Sociology. After college, I was with the San Diego Daily Transcript writing a restaurant column and then decided to move forward with education. I worked for the University Of Phoenix and attained my Masters Degree in Business. I also spent a few years with the corporate accounts division of AT&T where I sold and managed multi-million dollar contracts. The corporate world lacked a certain human element and interaction that I have always flourished in - I enjoy empowering others. My family prompted me to explore the possibilities of Real Estate as they had found great success (in the slow market of the 1990s). I was attracted to the possibility of learning about the most important investment that most people have and helping to maximize that profit while educating along the way. When I bought my first home, I witnessed first hand the stresses of an escrow. Real estate offered me the flexibility to develop my own business plan while implementing all that I learned through education and experience. The main goal of the business plan is to empower and inspire all of my clients to the possibilities available to them and educate while the transaction progresses. This allows each client to feel that they have control over the transaction and have guidance from a professional who truly cares about their best interest.

System And Method For Estimating Terminal Position Based On Non-Geostationary Communication Satellite Signals
Michael Parr - Del Mar CA, US Michael Rodgers - San Diego CA, US
International Classification:
G01S 19/40
US Classification:
34235723
Abstract:
A device is provided for use with a satellite and a receiver having a local oscillator. The satellite is traveling in a vector and transmits a signal having an expected frequency. The receiver receives a received signal having a received signal frequency. The device includes: a Doppler shift measuring portion measuring a Doppler shift D; a predetermined Doppler shift storage portion storing a predetermined received Doppler shift D; a received signal Doppler shift error calculating portion calculating a received signal Doppler shift error D; a predetermined receiver position storage portion storing a predetermined position Pof the receiver; and a receiver position estimating portion calculating an estimated receiver position Pbased on the predetermined position Pof the receiver and the received signal Doppler shift error D.
Process For Manufacturing Pure Polycrystalline Silicon
A process for the production of high purity polycrystalline silicon from a mixture of silicon tetrachloride and trichlorosilane. Such a mixture can be used for the rapid deposition of polycrystalline silicon while, at the same time, producing an excess of trichlorosilane in exhaust gases from the reaction. The process permits the modification of the reactor design for the economical and energy conscious production of polycrystalline silicon.
There is disclosed a process for the hydrogen reduction of silicon tetrachloride to produce trichlorosilane. In accordance with the process, hydrogen and silicon tetrachloride vapors are passed through a reaction chamber at relatively high flow rates with approximately 50 mole percent silicon tetrachloride in the mixture. The reaction vessel is held at a temperature of between 900. degree. and 1200. degree. C. This process is a part of an overall system for the production of polycrystalline silicon for the semiconductor industry.

Gay clocked 9.93 to beat Michael Rodgers in an all-American 1-2-3. It was a decent performance from Gay, but still far from the level that made him the second fastest sprinter behind Usain Bolt. Gay won the 100 at Athletissima in 9.79 a year ago.
