Abstract:

The present invention provides a light device comprised of a body, a handle, a user interface, and a positionable arm that is structured to pivotally support a lighting element assembly. The light device may be configured to be portable and carried or otherwise manipulated by a user grasping the handle. In one embodiment, the body of the light device defines first and second support surfaces that are structured to stably support the weight of the light device in first and second illumination positions, respectively.

The present invention is directed to a device for illuminating a yard sign that uses an efficient beam of light and is adapted to cycle on and off. The illuminating device includes a main body portion, a switch, a control circuit, a power source, at least one arm adjustably attached to the main body portion, and a light head disposed proximate an end of the at least one arm, the light head comprising at least one light emitting diode (LED) assembly. The control circuit is configured to automatically cycle the LED assembly on and off when activated by the switch.

A portable wire feeder system is disclosed that includes a wire feeder disposed in a hands-free carrying case or backpack. The hands-free carrying case or backpack may include a hip mount, a shoulder mount, or a combination thereof. Additionally, the backpack may include a welding torch receptacle. The system may further include a controller configured to exchange data with a welding power supply remotely located from the hands-free carrying case. The system may also include a user control device located on the hands-free carrying case and coupled to the controller. The user control device may also be a wireless communication device and may include a body mount. The system may further include a moisture remover disposed in the backpack and/or a heater.

A welding device for remotely controlling welding power supply settings is provided. One embodiment of the welding device includes a welding pendant having a control panel configured to control a plurality of settings of a welding power supply. The control panel is not part of the welding power supply and the plurality of settings includes a welding current output by the welding power supply. The welding pendant also includes a welding power input configured to receive welding power and data from the welding power supply via a welding power cable. The welding power is combined with the data such that the data is provided over the welding power cable.
