Abstract:

A system and method automatically identify candidate helpdesk problem categories that are most amenable to automated solutions. The system generates a dictionary wherein each word in the text data set is identified, and the number of documents containing these words is counted, and a corresponding count is generated. The documents are partitioned into clusters. For each generated cluster, the system sorts the dictionary terms in order of decreasing occurrence frequency. It then determines a search space by selecting the top dictionary terms as specified by a user defined depth of search. Next, the system chooses a set of terms from the search space as specified by a user-defined value indicating the desired level of detail. For each possible combination of frequent terms in the search space, the system finds the set of examples containing all the terms, and then determines if the frequency is sufficiently high and the overlap sufficiently low for this candidate set of examples to be a frequently asked question.

A disposable lancing element is adapted for use in a lancing device for making an incision through a user's skin. The lancing element includes a body which defines a longitudinal axis, and has a skin-lancing member projecting from a front end thereof. A capillary tube is mounted in the body in laterally spaced relationship to the skin-lancing member and is slidable longitudinally relative to the body so as to be extended forwardly past the skin-lancing member. The body includes a plurality of circumferentially spaced, radially outwardly projecting bosses formed thereon for guiding the disposable element installation in a carrier element. The skin-lancing member may comprise a plurality of needles or barbs arranged in parallel side-by-side relationship. In lieu of a skin-lancing member, the disposable element may possess a longitudinal through-hole for conducting a skin-piercing laser light beam or pressurized fluid. A capillary tube may have an outwardly flared lower (inlet) end.

Abstract:

A therapeutic roller apparatus comprised of at least two replaceable resilient therapeutic massage pads and an associated pad substrates adapted to mate together to form a cylindrical roller body, and a pair of cylindrical end caps provided to lockingly mate with and enclose the ends of the roller body. The diameter of the end caps may be substantially greater than that of the roller so that user weight applied to the roller body is transferred to the end caps. The interior space of the roller body may be used as a storage chamber for storing sundry items. In addition, a detachable carry strap may be affixed to the end caps to accommodate transport of the device.
