Abstract:

System and method for preparing, using, and displaying a state model of a process, as an industrial or business process, as a sequence of discrete steps. The state model defines the behavior of the logical objects making up a process model of the process as (1) a set of permitted states and (2) a set of permitted transitions between the permitted states. The state model is created by selecting a template for the state model, and selecting industrial or business object components for the state model (for example, by using âOOPâ methods or other programming paradigms). The user then selects or defines state transitions for the state model, for example, by defining permitted state transitions from a âfrom stateâ to a âto stateâ. The defined or selected state transition rules are identified to State Transition Rule names. That is, state transitions are associated to specific state transition rules, names, and conditions, and the state transition names and state transition rule names are enumerated.

Abstract:

A dynamic pricing system and method that enables prices for sellable objects to be dynamically adjusted using pricing factors corresponding to attributes of the sellable objects. Product administrators are enabled to define sellable products and extended attributes for the products, while pricing administrators are enabled to define price lists for the sellable products and extended attributes. Sales representatives build sellable objects, such as quotes, orders, shopping carts, etc, by adding products that customers would like to purchase to the sellable object. Additionally, extended attributes may be selected for all or a portion of the products. Using Static Pricing, an initial or static price is determined for the sellable objects. The static price may then be dynamically adjusted prior to or at the point of a sales transaction or offer using pricing factors corresponding to combinations of various attributes of the sellable object and/or products from which it is built.

A system and method of analyzing a power grid in an integrated circuit includes inputting a circuit design to a test bench, inputting a plurality of initial values for the circuit design in to the test bench, setting a current time t to 0 value for an initial time (t) of the operation of the circuit design, representing each capacitor in an RC circuit corresponding to the power grid circuit design by the each capacitor's respective time variant equivalent companion model, describing each one of the plurality of RC equivalent circuits mathematically as one of a corresponding plurality of linear equations, storing the plurality of linear equations in a matrix Yfor time t, resolving the matrix Yto determine a DC operating point, updating the RC equivalent circuits and the corresponding plurality of linear equations at a second time step t=t+h where h is a time step value equal to the current time t and a next simulated operation time, storing the updated plurality of linear equations in a matrix Yfor time t, inverting the matrix Yto form inverted matrix Y, resolving the inverted matrix Y, calculating a new time step and setting the current time t to t+h, comparing the new time step h to a plurality of time steps in a time step database, selecting one of the plurality of time steps substantially equal to the new time step and recalling a solution corresponding to the selected time step.

Abstract:

Oscillating disk devices for drip irrigation systems, heap leach mining systems, industrial cleaning high pressure washer or emulsifying systems are provided. The devices include an upper body portion having an inlet defining an intake passageway and a lower body portion having a discharge outlet defining a discharge opening and passageway. A disk (or disk combined with a spring) is positioned in a chamber between the upper and lower body portions. During the oscillation cycle, the disk oscillates with great energy at a low to medium frequency. This mechanical oscillation may be used to flush out irrigation or heap leach mining drippers and lines, and to create shock waves or mechanical vibrations that can be used for industrial cleaning applications, increase efficiency of high pressure water and mix or emulsify solutions.
