Abstract:

The present soft article dispenser is comprised of a tube with an open loading end and a constricted dispensing end. The tube is comprised of a rolled up sheet of flexible and collapsible material, such as fabric, with opposite edges which are sewn together. A loading end reinforcing band and a dispensing end reinforcing band are provided at the corresponding ends of the tube. Each reinforcing band is comprised of a rolled up sheet of stronger material, such as leather or vinyl-coated fabric, with opposite edges which are sewn together. The constricted dispensing end is comprised of a disc sewn to the end of the dispensing end reinforcing band. A hole is provided in the disc. A loop is attached to the tube at the open loading end for hanging. Soft articles, such as small items of clothing, plastic bags, disposable gloves, etc. , are stuffed snugly into the dispenser from the loading end.

Abstract:

A docking device for receiving a portable device. The docking device includes a base including a substantially planar upper surface for supporting a portable device. The docking device includes an array of a plurality of engagement members. Each engagement member in the plurality of engagement members includes a fixed body protruding upwardly from the substantially planar upper surface of the base. Each engagement member includes a spring including a fixed end portion and a free end portion for engagement with the portable device. The fixed end portion interfaces with the fixed body. The free end portion protrudes from the fixed end portion obliquely towards the substantially planar upper surface of the base. The free end being movable along a deformable gap between a first surface of the fixed body and a second surface of the spring.

Systems and methods for implementing one or more compiled workflows at a biological foundry are provided. A representation of an uncompiled workflow to produce engineering targets is obtained. The representation is translated into a first corresponding instance of a compiled workflow. If the translation satisfaction of various threshold translation criteria is determined, and the first corresponding instance of the compiled workflow is executed to complete a first portion of manufacture of the engineering targets. If the executing satisfaction of various threshold execution criteria is determined, the representation is translated into a second corresponding instance of the compiled workflow different from the first corresponding instance. Abstract:

A rigid cartridge for housing and removably coupling with a soft body bioreactor is provided. The rigid cartridge includes rigid walls defining a rigid housing. The rigid walls expose a fixed interior configured to house the soft body. An interior surface of a first rigid wall includes a first mating mechanism to engage a second mating mechanism of the soft body to removably coupled with the rigid cartridge and accommodate the soft body in the fixed interior of the rigid cartridge. A rigid wall includes a planar upper surface including an aperture. Each aperture is encompassed by an annular hood protruding upwardly from the substantially planar upper surface and integrally formed with the at least one rigid wall. The aperture is configured to receive and fixed engage a corresponding connector. Each connector includes a rigid coupling mechanism that provides communication with a corresponding plurality of ports of the soft body.
