Interests:

My two sons, Nathan (7) and Nicholas (4) are my greatest interest and source of joy. They are beyond interesting, fascinating is the word. My husband and I are big time music enthusiasts and we go to a lot of concerts together from a wide range of genres. We also get out to several fairs and festivals during the summertime- staying young (even if only at heart) is a big value of ours. Travel/ Retreats- the picture on my page is of Lake Superior taken on one of Madeline Island's shores, which is where my parents have a cabin and where I have had the benefit of retreating to for R & R on many occassions since returning home to the Twin Cities from my ten years in Milwaukee.

Honor & Awards:

Although not an occupational award, when attending the 1988 Summer Cheerleading Camp held at the University of Minnesota campus, I was awarded the PMA Award. That stands for Positive Mental Attitude and the winner is decided by a majority vote- the voters being the more than 400 cheerleaders in attendance. I was truly honored to have been given this award by so many fellow cheerleaders, (a few whom I had only met and interacted with briefly on one very large group cheer sequence) and to have stood out in their collective minds as having had the best attitude among them. What had set me apart then sets me apart still today and that is my genuinely upbeat and motivational attitude and approach to my daily responsibilities, long-term goals and most importantly the people I deal with, influence and affect along the way.
