Identifying training needs of the project team members and arranging for suitable training for them, in consultation with GM for furtherance of their professional skills and competence.<br/> Preparing schedule of work/Bill of Material and float the enquiries for subcontract works/Materials/Systems as per the contract specifications and drawings.<br/> Ensuring the right quotations are obtained for every project.<br/> Evaluating offers and preparing a comparative statement with respect to technical as well as commercial parameters.<br/> Carrying out necessary follow-ups with vendors/suppliers/sub-contract... for timely execution/delivery of the ordered items.<br/> Inspecting (in conjunction with QC Engineer) the material delivered to the site stores and there upon preparing/submitting the inspection request to the Consultants.<br/> To plan and timely arrange any special unloading/storage requirements<br/> Carrying out follow-ups with respect to replacement/delivery of any defective/rejected/materials or short delivered items.<br/> Ensuring that the quality of material and installation of works are in accordance with the acceptance criteria, specifications, approved materials and methods of installation approved for the project.<br/> Efficient planning and optimum utilization of Material and manpower.<br/> Monitoring productivity and compiling relevant information on production rates.<br/> Proactive coordination with civil contractor/subcontractors for effective execution of works.<br/> Preparing and projecting any requirement with respect to materials, plant and tools and manpower or any other items whatsoever required for timely/safe execution of respective services/activities.<br/> Ensuring that safety rules and regulations are communicated to the workforce and are fully enforced.<br/> Coordinating and monitoring of all sub-contractors work closely to ensure that the quality of the work is in full compliance to the contract specification, project quality plan and is completed of time.<br/> Ensuring that all information/drawings are issued/conveyed to the workforce in a proper manner and details produced are in compliance to the requirement.<br/> Any other duties and responsibilities assigned by GM.
