An illuminated master calendar is disclosed having a short depth profile and suitable for mounting on a wall. A front panel of the housing has a first group of momentary contact touch sensitive switches mounted thereon with each switch having a transparent pushbutton face through which illuminated indicia are visible when the switch is depressed. The first group of switches is representative of each of the days of the month, a similar second group of switches is provided for each of the months of the year, and a third group for each of the days of the week. A circuit is provided for illuminating a light source behind each of the indicia when the corresponding switch is touched. The circuit also maintains illumination of the indicia after the switch is released. A reset switch and associated reset circuit are connected for extinguishing all illuminated indicia and preparing each of the switches with associated indicia for reactivation. A tape recorder memory system may also be associated with the calender such that predetermined segments of a tape corresponding to each of the days of the month are provided for recording of messages corresponding to each of such days.
A cockroach extermination apparatus is disclosed having an outer enclosure with an open top end and a plurality of entranceways at a bottom end thereof. An inner cylindrical enclosure is receivable in telescoping fashion within the outer enclosure. The inner enclosure has a top wall and creates a darkened environment. The inner enclosure is adjustable so as to selectively close the entranceways. Within the inner enclosure a beehive-like core is removably secured in screw-like fashion. The core has a plurality of inner entranceways and a plurality of pockets into which cockroaches crawl in the darkened environment. When desired, the cockroaches are exterminated by closing the outer entranceways and then, when desired, removing the inner enclosure, unscrewing the core, and holding the core under a stream of water to wash away the cockroaches.

Abstract:
A wireless communication device has multiple wireless transceivers to access multiple wireless networks. A first wireless transceiver exchanges wireless media communications with a first wireless network. The wireless communication device processes network data to select a second wireless network, and responsive to the selection, identifies an associated instruction in the network data to disable the first wireless transceiver responsive to selecting the second wireless network. A second wireless transceiver exchanges additional wireless media communications with the second wireless network responsive to the selection. The wireless communication device disables the first wireless transceiver responsive to the instruction.
