I love my job helping clients with their home loans. Finding the best product for them at the best price is just one of the may things that I do. I work with borrowers to get their credit scores up so they can buy a home...Making wise decisions for the future by understanding the importance to having good credit, how to maintain it and how to improve it. I also co teach the WA State Home Buyers Classes in the area...I have been teaching these 5 hour classes on home buying from start to finish since 2004. I love working with these buyers...It is so important for them to understand the process, but also be involved in it so that when they get done and are in their home they are not overwhelmed with the responsibility. I also take it as a huge responsibility to make sure that my borrowers pre approval letters stick through closing. I do this by not cutting corners...I ask for the documentation up front. Where other lenders get the minimum so not to inconvience the borrower...I get it in the beginning...It means more work in the beginning but less fall out in underwriting. If a lender waits till the file is in processing and lets the processor request the items...sure it makes the loan officer look good but eventually the borrower has to come in with the items needed anyway...We all need the same stuff...So whynot just get it and be done with it...It makes the file go faster when it does go over to processing. Our new office in Everett, is bright cheery and in a great location for access North or South. We have a nice size conference room that will sit 15 people comfortably...
