A lighting apparatus to be retrofitted to a clipping apparatus for grooming animals is disclosed which includes a light bulb for lighting the clipping apparatus, a power supply apparatus for supplying power to the light bulb, and a canopy for covering the light bulb and for dispersing light produced by the light bulb. The light source may also be built directly into the clipping apparatus. A method of grooming an associated animal using the clipping apparatus is also disclosed that includes the steps of attaching the light source to the clipping apparatus and grooming the associated animal using the clipping apparatus.
Provided is an apparatus which simultaneously dries and brushes animals with hair or fur. A positive air pressure source is forced through a general air passageway configuration, comprising a tube, a handle member air passageway, a brush member air passageway, and an outward air aperture. A handle member, comprising a heat adjuster and airflow adjuster, connects to a brush member including an air aperture, a bristle base, and bristles. The bristle base is detachable from the brush member. A depressible prong mechanism is fastened to the handle member for repeated connection and disconnection of the handle member and the brush member. The detachable bristle base and the disconnection of the handle member from the brush member allows for effective apparatus cleaning which leads to more efficient animal drying.
The present invention relates to an animal waste collection and disposal apparatus that separates solid and liquid waste. The collection and disposal apparatus has a basin and a corresponding grate. The grate is placed on top of the basin and allows for any liquid waste to pass through, while retaining any solid waste on the upper surface. An absorption pad may be placed in between the basin and grate. The basin may have securement means located about at least one of its exterior edges, allowing multiple basins to be connected to one another so as to create a single, larger unit for use with larger animals.
The present invention is a method and apparatus for safely and securely holding and supporting an animal while it is being groomed. The disclosed apparatus can have multiple support members that wrap around an animal, passing under the animal's belly, around the hips and shoulders, and up over the back where it can be secured to a frame or post to keep the animal stable and supported, without restraining the animal by the neck, while undergoing a grooming procedure. The cutouts and support members that make up the leg holes in the apparatus can be lined with a soft material, such as fleece, to provide comfort and prevent chafing to the animal's skin during the procedure.
