A Vitamin E composition containing tocotrienols (alpha-tocotrienol, beta-tocotrienol, gamma-tocotrienol, and delta-tocotrienol), and tocopherols comprising at least alpha-tocopherol and gamma-tocopherol, where the gamma-tocopherol is present in an amount greater than the alpha-tocopherol. The composition may take the form of any conventional delivery mechanism, with softgel capsules being a preferred form.

Abstract:

An orthotic device and method of use are disclosed for suspending toes of a wearer's foot off of a sole of footwear. The orthotic device includes a bottom surface, a top surface, and a distal end. The bottom surface is adapted to be affixed to a sole of protective footwear. The top surface is adapted to be adjacent to the foot when the foot is within the protective footwear and to suspend toes of the foot off of the sole when the foot is in a resting position within the protective footwear. The distal end defines ends of the bottom surface and the top surface, the distal end being substantially aligned with metatarsophalangeal joints of the foot when the foot is within the protective footwear.

Abstract:

The field of invention relates to Vitamin C compositions, and in particular to Vitamin C compositions containing ascorbate-glucose transport enhancers. In at least one aspect, a composition is provided herein that includes ascorbate in an amount from about 0.1% by weight of actives to about 99.9% by weight of actives, and at least one ascorbate-glucose transport enhancer in an amount from about 0.01% by weight of actives to about 99.0% by weight of actives. In other aspects, methods of improving the transport of ascorbate into cells and tissues, and improving the ascorbate or antioxidant status of a person, are provided that include providing a composition comprising ascorbate and at least one ascorbate-glucose transport enhancer.
