Abstract:A portable heating assembly for use in a portable food warmer/server is provided including an electrical heating element supported on a protective rack. Mounting means are provided for detachably mounting the heating assembly to a support member. The heating assembly is adapted to be vertically movable between an upper limit and a lower limit and includes a biasing means for resiliently biasing the heating element in the upper limit.
