Abstract:

A thigh protector for rodman comprised of a shield member which extends over the thigh from the groin to approximately the knee and a reinforcing member positioned underneath the shield member at a location where the rodman will position one or more rods. The reinforcing member is preferably comprised of a narrow piece of curved material that serves the function of keeping the shield member centered on the front of the rodmans thigh and also distributes the weight of the one or more rebars that are positioned on the rodmans thigh so as to reduce the likelihood of the one or more rebars injuring the rodmans thigh. In use, the rodman carries the bundle of rebar on their shoulders and then positions a front leg forward with the knees slightly bent so that the thigh, which is wearing the thigh protector, is at least partially horizontal. The bundle of rods are then dropped onto the thigh and the rodman holds them in place with at least one of their hands. A single rod is then selected out of the bundle of rods and is dropped so as to slide down the shield member towards the rodmans knee from where it falls to the ground.

Abstract:

A painting container having a first cavity adapted to receive a painting utensil and a second cavity adapted to receive liquid to be applied to a surface with the painting utensil. A handle extends in the direction of the cavity is attached to the container that permits a user to grasp the handle while using the container for applying liquid to a surface. The handle is also dimensioned so as to allow the painting container to be mounted on a ladder. In one embodiment, the container is adapted to receive a liner and in one embodiment, the liner can be configured to have a roller tray to permit use of the container with roller application of paint or liquid to a surface. In another embodiment, the container is dimensioned so as to fit on a painting supply container to permit the container to reseal a painting supply container.

Abstract:

A waist supported structure for mounting a tool carrier to carry tools at the waist of a wearer is provided that includes an upper portion having an outwardly directed surface adjacent the waist of a wearer. At least one band portion is attached at its opposite ends to the outwardly directed surface, wherein the band is substantially parallel to and facing the outwardly directed surface to define a slot therebetween. Abstract:

A protective tool holder comprises a tool pocket including a front piece having a cutout forming a channel to receive a tool handle, such as a trowel, attached to a back piece by at least one fastener which acts as a spacer. The tool pocket bottom and sides are open, the spacer limiting movement of a tool inserted into the pocket. Openings among spacers allow debris to exit the tool pocket. The tool holder is attached to a belt by an attachment member comprising a front and a rear member that when separated, attach the tool holder to the belt by suspension over the belt. An aperture in the rear member is sized to receive a belt therethrough. The members have upper and lower sections, the lower sections being releasably attached to each other by a second fastener, the upper sections attached to each other by the first fastener.
