Abstract:

A system and method are disclosed for making an offer for at least one revolving credit product to an applicant. An identifier for each of a plurality of revolving credit products is stored and at least one attribute () is associated with each of the revolving credit products. An application for a revolving credit product is received from an applicant (). One or more of the revolving credit product issuer's () objectives are identified. A set of revolving credit products that fit within an applicant profile is created, ranked, and at least one of the top ranking revolving credit products are then offered to the applicant from the set of revolving credit products.

Abstract:

The present invention relates to a system and method for estimating the future and present value of credit accounts (FIG. ). A plurality of profit driver segments () are established. A degree of belonging of the credit account to each of the plurality of profit driver segments () is determine by characterizing the credit account based upon it historical behavior (). The probability of migration of the credit account from at least one profit driver segment () to at least one profit driver segment based upon historical behavior data is determined. The credit account can then be valued based upon the characterization of the credit account and the determined probability of migration. By examinating how accounts migrate between behavior segments over multiple periods, and analyzing the discounted cash flows associated with these migration patterns, a net present value may be calculated for each account.

Abstract:

One embodiment of the present invention relates to a computer implemented method for transaction processing that includes: transacting for a first and a second transactions for at least one of: a purchase; and a cash advance; sending requests for authorization of the first and second transactions; declining, by a primary lender, the requests for authorization; evaluating the declined requests for authorization by a secondary lender; authorizing, by the secondary lender, the declined requests for authorization in the form of authorization approvals; communicating the authorization approvals by the primary lender; posting the transactions to a balance sheet of the secondary lender in the form of amounts due to the primary lender; funding the transactions by the primary lender; summing up one or more debits and one or more credits of the posted transactions of the secondary lender; and settling any amounts due between the primary and secondary lenders.
