A hammer mill apparatus to shred and chip boards fed therethrough comprising a shredding rotor assembly rotatably disposed within a debris chamber formed within a rotor housing including an entry portion and an exit portion formed therein, the shredding rotor assembly includes at least one rotor disc assembly having a plurality of hammer elements pivotally coupled to the periphery thereof being operatively connected to a rotor drive assembly including a drive motor and a rotatable rotor drive shaft to rotate the rotor disc assembly exerting centrifugal force on the plurality of hammer elements such that a line coincident with the longitudinal axis of each hammer element extends through the rotatable rotor drive shaft whereby the outer end of the hammer elements engage boards in the entry portion to shred and chip such boards entering the debris chamber and discharges the reduced material from the exit portion.
A battery cell soldering apparatus for coupling a plurality of battery cells within a battery casing comprising a support platform and a battery casing holder wherein the support platform operatively supports a soldering block including a plurality soldering elements coupled to an electrical source together with a cooling means and control panel to selectively control the heating and cooling of the soldering block when the battery cells within the battery casing are held inverted in operative engagement with the plurality of soldering elements by the battery casing holder.
Heat Sealing Machine For Joining A Battery Cover And Battery Casing
A heat sealing machine for joining a battery casing and battery cover selectively operable in either a heating mode or a bonding mode comprising a battery casing station, a battery cover station and a battery casing/cover heater station operatively supported on a machine support frame, the battery casing station including a substantially horizontal support member to support the battery casing, the battery casing/cover heating station including a heater support frame movable between a first and second position pivotally mounted on the machine support frame having a casing/cover heater mounted on one end thereof and a counter balance mounted on the opposite end thereof, the battery cover station including a battery cover support frame movable between a first and second position pivotally mounted on the machine support frame having a battery cover support to support the battery cover pivotally attached to one end thereof and a counter balance mounted on the opposite end thereof, the machine support frame including a plurality of rollers for lateral movement of the individual battery casings thereon to move the battery casing laterally to the battery casing station, such that when the battery cover station and the battery casing/cover heater station are each in the second position the battery casing/cover heater station is operatively disposed between the battery casing and battery cover to heat the upper periphery of the battery casing and lower periphery of the battery cover and when the battery casing/cover heater station is in the first position and the battery cover station is in the second position the heated lower periphery of the battery cover engages the heated upper periphery of the battery casing to create a bond therebetween.
A wrapping machine for wrapping articles such as newspapers in individual protective packets comprising a support assembly having a feed station for introducing unwrapped articles into the machine for wrapping and a pick-up station for retrieving wrapped articles from the wrapping machine mounted on opposite ends thereof, a transport/wrapping assembly for moving the articles from the feed station to the pick-up station and a film supply for enclosing the article between a first flexible protective film sheet and a second flexible protective film sheet, a film sealing assembly for sealing the opposite sides and the opposite ends of the first flexible protective film sheet and the second flexible protective film sheet together to form a protective packet enclosing the article therein, a film cutting assembly for separating adjacent protective packets and a control assembly including at least one sensor to detect articles moving through the wrapping machine and to selectively activate and deactivate the sealing assembly and cutting assembly.
A battery casing salvage machine comprising a plurality of discrete stations disposed in operative communication by a conveyor means to sequentially remove the original cover from the enclosed battery case and rebuild the battery case and battery cell partitions. The plurality of discrete stations includes a first station comprising a first cutting means including a saw cutting means to remove at least a portion of the original battery cover and the upper portion of the original battery case, a second station comprising a second cutting means including a bevel cutting means to remove the remaining portion of the original battery cover, and a third station comprising a third cutting means including at least one drill means to undercut the battery cell partitions where the cell connectors are fused together. The battery casing salvage machine further includes an automatic feed means disposed in operative relationship to the first station to continuously feed battery casings thereto.
Heat Sealing Machine For Bonding Battery Covers And Battery Casings Together
A heat sealing machine for joining a battery casing and battery cover comprising a battery casing heating station and a battery cover preheating station operatively supported on a machine support frame, the battery casing heating station including a battery casing heater support frame pivotally mounted on the machine support frame having a battery casing heater pivotally attached to one end thereof and a counter balance mounted on the opposite end thereof, the battery cover preheating station including a battery support frame having a battery cover preheater pivotally attached to one end thereof and a counter balance mounted on the opposite end thereof, the machine support frame including a plurality of rollers for lateral movement of the individual battery casings thereon to move the heated battery casing laterally from the battery casing heating station to the battery cover preheating station to receive the preheated battery cover, such that the upper periphery of the battery casing is heated by the battery casing heater and the battery cover is preheated by the battery cover heater to permit bonding therebetween.
