Abstract:

The present disclosure provides a receiver for receiving a narrow frequency deviation frequency modulated or phase modulated base band signal including a mixer for mixing the received narrow frequency deviation signal to generate an intermediate frequency signal, a band pass filter for filtering the intermediate frequency signal, and a narrow band discriminator circuit that performs a time domain expansion of the modulation deviation of the intermediate frequency signal and discriminates the base band signal.

Abstract:

The present disclosure provides a method and apparatus for communicating a base band signal via a communication channel that connects a transmitter to a receiver comprising the steps of modulating the base band signal into a low frequency deviation modulated signal, transmitting the low frequency deviation modulated signal with a transmitter, receiving the low frequency deviation modulated signal with a receiver, mixing the received signal to an intermediate frequency signal, multiplying the intermediate frequency signal by to a multiplied frequency signal, multiplying a reference signal having a frequency generally equal to the center frequency of the intermediate frequency signal by a multiple that is one greater than or one less than the multiplied frequency signal to create a reference multiplied frequency signal, subtracting the reference multiplied frequency signal from the multiplied frequency signal to generate a wide band frequency signal, and discriminating the wide band frequency signal to obtain the base band signal.

Abstract:

Disclosed is a computer-based system and method for conducting ad hoc personal identification, or ID, transactions between at least two or more persons by means of a personal identification transaction apparatus attached to at least two communications channels. The personal identification transaction apparatus is intended to assist the interaction between two persons by brokering an identification transaction thus alleviating the exchange of detailed information necessary to confirm an identity, particularly that portion of a person's identity that is related to the purpose of the interaction between two persons. A component of the personal identification transaction apparatus includes a identification transaction order generation unit that provides a score associated with each user party to the transaction, as well as the transaction itself.
