Abstract:
A magnetically damped fork level indicating device comprises a housing having a gauge section; an elongate indicator arm pivotally coupled to the housing, the arm having first and second sections disposed on opposite sides of the axis; a weight coupled to the indicator arm so as to cause the first section to assume a predetermined orientation with respect to level ground; wherein the indicator arm at least partially overlies the gauge section and wherein the relative position of the indicator arm and the gauge section indicate the relative angular relationship between the orientation of the forks and level ground; a dampening means comprising a first magnet associated with the arm and moveable therewith and a second magnet associated with the housing and spaced from the first magnet, the second magnet magnetically coupled to the first magnet so as to dampen oscillations of the arm.

Abstract:
A collapsible support frame includes a plurality of frame structures each having frame members joined together by a tension cable. A locking mechanism pivotably connects the frame structures and allows a user to move the frame structures between a folded position and an unfolded position. In the unfolded position, the frame structure is locked open and may carry a load. In the folded position, the frame structure is collapsed to form a bundle. A slack control member may provide tension to the tension cable when the support frame is unfolded, and to control slack in the tension cable when the support frame is folded.

Abstract:
A collapsible support frame includes a plurality of segmented legs pivotally connected to an inner surface of a collar, and are held together by an elastic cord. The legs pivot between a folded position and an deployed position. In the folded position, the legs segments form a bundle to facilitate storage or transport. Portions of the legs segments may seat within leg seats formed in the outer surface of the collar. In the deployed position, the legs pivot to contact leg support seats formed at angles in an inner surface of the collar. After contact, each leg extends in a different direction supported by its respective leg support seat. The elastic cord provides tension that keeps the leg segments together in the deployed position, and prevents the leg segments from becoming lost or separated in the folded position.
A doorstop comprises a unitary body made of a resilient material including an elongate shank having a longitudinal axis, a tip at one end of said elongate shank, and a base at the opposite end of said elongate shank. A flexible wall connects said elongate shank to said base and is designed to flex in response to impact by a door along the longitudinal axis to absorb the impact of said door.

Abstract:
A collapsible frame comprises a plurality of frame members joined together by a flexible tension cable. In one embodiment, the individual frame members are also joined together by an elastic cord to facilitate assembly. The tensioning member includes an arcuate cable track and is rotatably connected to the frame. Relative rotation of the frame and tensioning member in a first direction tightens the tension cable, while relative rotation of the frame and tensioning member in a second direction loosens the tension cable.

The convertible cart comprises a first platform and a platform assembly. The platform assembly comprises a second platform and a third platform and is pivotably connected to the first platform. The platform assembly moves between a first position where the second platform is disposed above the first platform and a second position where the third platform forms a continuous platform with the first platform. In another embodiment the cart comprises a first platform and a second platform movable between a first position where said second platform is disposed above the first platform and a second position where the third platform is coplanar with the first platform. Methods of converting a cart between a utility cart and a platform truck are also provided.
A collapsible support frame has a front frame, a rear frame, and a locking mechanism connected to the front and rear frames. The locking mechanism has a lever and a base member. In the locked position, the lever and the base member engage to pull the front and rear frames towards each other. This places tension on the front and rear frames and holds the frame structure in an open or unfolded position for use. In the unlocked position, the lever and the base member separate from each other. This releases the tension placed on the front and rear frames and allows the frame structure to collapse or fold in on itself for storage.
