Abstract:

An electronic system includes an input device and an electronic device, and a switching device connected between them. The switching device allows and disallows access of the input device to the electronic device in response to a security signal. The input device is connected to the electronic device when the switching device is activated. The input device is disconnected from the electronic device when the switching device is deactivated.

Abstract:

A wearable energy collection device. The wearable energy collection device includes a housing having a plurality of straps, configured to attach the housing to an arm of an individual. The housing includes a plurality of energy collection systems, including at least one solar energy harvesting system, at least one kinetic energy harvesting system, and at least one electrostatic energy harvesting system. The plurality of energy collection systems are operably connected to an energy storage device within the housing, which stores energy collected by one or more energy collection systems of the plurality of energy collection systems. The energy storage device is configured to power a light and a clock positioned on an exterior of the housing, or to power or charge an external device. The wearable energy collection device is useful for converting energy from an environment into usable stored energy.
