Abstract:

A data extraction tool is provided to extract filtered connectivity and geometrical data for specified layout cell hierarchies of an integrated circuit (IC) design, e. g. a deep sub-micron IC design. The connectivity and geometrical data for each layout cell hierarchy are extracted at least in part in accordance with specified parasitic effect windows. In one embodiment, the data extraction tool includes a filtered extraction function that operates to extract connectivity and geometrical data for layout nets of each layout cell hierarchy of the IC design, one or more layout nets at a time. Additionally, one or more filtered databases are provided to store the filtered connectivity and geometrical data of the layout cell hierarchies.

Abstract:

An elastomeric composition is disclosed. The elastomeric composition includes, per 100 parts by weight of rubber (phr): 0 to about 50 phr of a polybutadiene having a cis-1,4 linkage content of at least 95%; about 50 to 100 phr of natural rubber or polyisoprene; a curative agent; an antioxidant; about 10 to about 80 phr carbon black; optionally about 30 to about 70 phr silica; about 1 to about 20 phr hydrocarbon resin; and about 5 to about 30 phr of a polymer selected from the group consisting of ethylene-propylene-diene terpolymer, butyl rubber, poly(isobutylene-co-para-methylstyrene) and poly(isobutylene-co-para-methyl-styrene-co-isoprene) terpolymer. The polymer based on ethylene-propylene-diene terpolymer, butyl rubber, oly(isobutylene-co-para-methylstyrene) and poly(isobutylene-co-para-methylstyrene-co-isoprene) terpolymer may be functionalized.

Abstract:

This invention relates to sulfur, vulcanization accelerator and carbon black master batch formulations comprising either a semi-crystalline propylene-olefin copolymer or a combination of a semi-crystalline propylene-olefin copolymer and a hydrocarbon resin. The semi-crystalline propylene-olefin copolymer or the combination of semi-crystalline propylene-olefin copolymer and hydrocarbon resin imparts a high hardness property to the carbon black, sulfur and accelerator master batch formulations thereby preventing pellet agglomeration during storage and allowing for ease in material handling.
