To include 2011 Tri-Cities Realtor of the Year.Paul was born in Sunnyside, Washington. As the oldest child of an immigrant family, Paul learned early in life of the importance of family, God, hard work, and the American dream from his Grandfather who survived a German Concentration camp during World War 2. With basically the clothes on their back Paul's Grandparents immigrated to America and worked on dairy farms. They traded labor for herds and income. This is where Paul's parent's met each other and started their own dairy business.Together the family operated four separate dairy farms in the Sunnyside Valley. In 1976, Paul's Grandfather Gerard Ebbelaar (Ebb e lar) was honored for his accomplishments being named the 1976 Washington State dairy family of the year.Being the oldest son, Paul's father envisioned that one day Paul would take over the family dairy business. Believing that a dairy farm's 24 hour 7 day a week schedule was more work than rewarding, Paul decided to go an easier route and joined the Army. As a Nuclear Security Specialist, Paul was stationed for 3 years in Germany on a nuclear missile base.When Paul left the military in 1983, it was to take a position at the Hanford site as a Nuclear Security Specialist for the 200 East and West Area. Paul worked his way through management and was responsible for the day-to-day management and training of 70 security officers, 5 Shift Supervisors, and 5 Alarm Monitoring Specialists.In 1990, Paul took a new position as an investigator with Westinghouse Hanford's, President's Office. Working with the company's, General Counsel's Office, Paul conducted detailed investigations for the company and Department of Energy regarding allegations of company and employee waste, fraud, abuse and conflict of interest allegations.In 1994, Paul resigned from Hanford to start his own business as a Real Estate Consultant. During the last 18 years, Paul has developed a wide range of Residential New Construction projects in addition to representing builders in the Sale of Properties throughout Tri-Cities Washington. His professional service includes leadership roles with numerous organizations, community service and industry groups.As a known speaker, trainer, business and life coach, Paul has lectured and written on many real estate and business development topics. Paul teaches that business is about relationships, integrity and high ethical standards; which Paul believes are critical to achieving a happy client for life.Dedicated to excellence in our profession, Paul said "We should think of our clients needs and their desired end results in every word and action we take during their transaction.
