Abstract:

A rack merchandising system comprising a movable pallet base having openings to receive lifting forks, and a central support structure, the central support structure perpendicularly attached to the moveable pallet base and having two vertically extending sides. The central support structure may also comprise at least one transverse support member extending between the two vertically extending sides. The system further has at least two vertical upright supports that are spaced apart from each other and are located at or near a peripheral edge of a top surface of the movable pallet base, each vertically extending side being aligned with one of the vertical upright supports. The system further has at least one inclined shelf having a first side, a second side, a third side, and a fourth side, the first side and the fourth sides being parallel to each other and perpendicular to the second and third sides. The system further comprises a first attachment means for attaching the shelf to the central support structure, wherein the central support structure supports the shelf at a first side of the shelf, and a second attachment means for attaching the shelf to the vertical upright supports at the second and third sides of the shelf respectively, wherein the vertical upright supports support the shelf at the second and third sides of the shelf, and wherein the first attachment means is vertically higher than the second attachment means.

Abstract:

Disclosed is a system and method to monitor and count particles removed from a component. The particle monitoring system includes a jet spray device, a snow generator, a particle collection device, and a particle counter. The jet spray device includes an outlet that is disposed locally relative to the component. The snow generator is operable to generate cleaning snow comprising a stream of ice particles, wherein the cleaning snow is emitted from the outlet of the jet spray device onto the component to cause the ejection of particles from the component. The particle collection device includes a collector that is disposed locally around the component to collect particles ejected from the component. The particle counter is coupled to, and in fluid communication with, the particle collection device. The particle counter is operable to detect and count particles ejected from the component.

Abstract:

A chromatograph detection system for differentiating pure components of a chromatogram for accurate measurement or collection of such components. The light beam passing through a single detector flow cell is split and absorbance is detected at two differing wavelengths. Undesirable overlapping components are eliminated by scaling the chromatogram at one wavelength to equal the chromatogram at the other wavelength, and then subtracting the chromatograms. Purity of component substances is determined by continuously dividing the chromatogram signals to determine the absorbance ratio and its characteristics over time.
