Paula Brown: Started her training at The Jones-Heywood School of Dance and Duke Ellington School of Arts, located in Washington, DC. The day after graduating from Central High school, Ms. Brown moved to New York City, on a full scholarship for the Alvin Ailey School of Dance. After that summer scholarship she was invited to become a company member of the Alvin Ailey Repertory Ensemble. Thereafter, Ms. Brown performed on Broadway, Television and Film. Some of her Broadway credits include the 2005 "West Side Story" (Anita) Directed by: George Faison at the Baltimore Lyric Opera House, revised Broadway production of “The Wiz” on Broadway and "The Old Settler” written by: John Henry Redwood. After being discovered in New York City by Ms. Debbie Allen, she was invited to move to Los Angeles, where she was a series regular on the television show Fame. Her list of other television and film credits include, dance double for HBO's, "The Josephine Baker Story", Halle Berry's Executive Producer production of "Lakawanna Blues", Spike Lee’s, “School Daze”, “Coming to America” and "The Running Man" Ms. Brown performed and toured with some of Americas Legendary top Pop Artist such as James Brown, Janet Jackson, Paula Abdul, Patti Labell, Prince, Dr. Dre and Snoop Dog. Her most recent credits aka Summer, was a five-year contract with Arista Records as the lead singer of the internationally and nationally acclaimed group “Snap”. Known for their number one charted hit's “I Got The Power“, "Rhythm Is A Dancer" and "Welcome To Tomorrow".
