Aaron Poreda, Shawn Tolleson, Pedro Figueroa, Alexi Ogando and Joakim Soria all came in as relief for Martinez, and were able to keep the As from scoring any more runs, allowing the Rangers to once again and compete in the late innings.
Texas also placed left-hander Pedro Figueroa on the 15-day disabled list Wednesday because of left elbow inflammation. Figueroa is the 11th player on the Rangers' DL, although third baseman Adrian Beltre is set to return Friday from a left quadriceps injury.

Pedro Figueroa relieved Lewis, who threw 89 pitches, and Seager went to second on an error that allowed Justin Smoak to reach base. Dustin Ackley then singled sharply to right to score a run. Smoak advanced to third on a fielding error by Alex Rios and scored on Zunino's base hit.
