About:
My Great Uncle worked the Idaho Springs mines. My Grandmother traveled to Idaho Springs for my Father’s health and treated him at the Indian Hot Springs for his asthma. After much improvement, my family made the final move, my Granddad owned the Rexall Pharmacy, and my Grandmother owned an Antique Store in Evergreen. After graduating from Clear Creek High School, my Father went off to fight in the war. He was stationed in Hawaii. My Mother was also stationed in Hawaii as a Psychiatric Nurse Cadet.
After the war, my parents returned to Denver. Denver is where they met and fell in love. My Father graduated from Denver University and my Mother worked at one of Denver’s hospitals as an RN.
My Grandparents moved to Washington Park and began a Rexxal Pharmacy on Colfax. Fond memories were visiting my Grandparents, going to the park, and feeding the ducks.
My Aunt and Uncle also lived in Denver. My Aunt worked at Lowery Air Force Base while my Uncle worked at Cinderella City.
Since my Father was involved in chemical plant start up operations, he began to move the family. We lived in Idaho, Indiana, Oklahoma, and Texas.
My heart belonged to Colorado, and I finally made it back and began my Denver area Real Estate career in 2000. I now hold an Employing Broker license. Prior to moving back to beautiful Colorado, I worked as a Savings and Loan Branch Manager, at NASA, a Budget Analyst with the USDA, I owned and operated a small Texas ranch, and owned a commercial and residential plumbing company.
I purchased an 1890 vintage home in Idaho Springs and have been renovating for several years with more to go. I am in the process of turning my front yard into a mini orchard and vegetable garden. My house has been well known for its antique rose gardens. I have two young Australian Kelpie dogs which I hope to train in search and rescue.
I am married to a wonderful Colorado Apache native. He is well known in the community as a great humanitarian. He has even won the Clear Creek citizen of the year award. He worked at Henderson Mine, on the mining rescue team, the swift water rescue team, and as a fire fighter. If he isn’t working on our home, he is working his job for Clear Creek Road and Bridge. (I keep him busy!)
Due to the economic difficulties and the necessity for additional health insurance for future jaw surgery, I reentered the work force. Real Estate is my passion, and I could no longer stay away. I’m Back!
I have worked residential, investment, commercial, property management, vacant land, horse properties, and mining claims for both sellers and buyers. I received the RE/MAX President's Club award.
