Abstract:

Methods for performing various operations via unlicensed mobile access (UMA) radio link control (URLC) messages in an unlicensed mobile access network (UMAN). The UMAN comprises a first radio access network that may be employed for accessing data services provided by a core network comprising a second radio access network. URLC messages are exchanged between mobile stations (MSs) and UMA network controllers (UNCs) to perform various operations associated with the UMAN. An MS may access the UMAN via a wireless access point (AP) that is communicatively coupled to a UNC via an IP network. The URLC messages are sent between MSs and UNCs using an Up interface comprising a set of layered protocols over an underlying IP transport.

Abstract:

Embodiments of the invention provide methods and apparatuses for incorporating fixed terminal devices within an integrated wireless system using a fixed terminal adaptor, and to indicate the capabilities of the fixed terminal adaptor. In accordance with one embodiment, a fixed terminal adaptor is enabled to indicate its capabilities to the network controller of the integrated wireless system. For one such embodiment, the network controller is able to select the appropriate bearer mechanisms to support the expected fixed terminal services.

A method within network element, for directing traffic away from cards of first virtual partition, before changing software on cards of first virtual partition, until after cards of first virtual partition have session data, while network element services sessions. Redistribute sessions, serviced by cards of first virtual partition, to cards of second virtual partition. Each of virtual partitions has control card and line card. Direct traffic away from cards of first virtual partition, prior to taking line card of first virtual partition offline. After changing software, synchronize session data, for sessions serviced by cards of second virtual partition to cards of first virtual partition. Traffic is directed away from cards before changing software on line card, and until after synchronizing session data to cards of first partition.

In one aspect, A system for processing a real-time resource transfer using distributed ledger technology utilizing an application queue application programming interface (API) and a database virtual queues is provided. The system includes a first entity node. The first entity node includes a first processor; a first communication interface; and a first memory having a portion of a blockchain application stored. The first memory includes the blockchain application that includes a blockchain with a plurality of data records.
