I am a father of three, twenty five year member the Army and about to retire in one more year. My career has been all over the world and included Combat Engineer, where I served in Desert Storm as a Demo Sergeant. After that I took a five year break and tried my hand at Law enforcement in Winston Salem, North Carolina until 1988. That was the point in my life that I decided that I needed to be back with people I related to and took a Airborne Ranger contract. There was no shortage of folks telling me I was crazy, I would not make it, so on and so forth. Well, I MADE IT! I stayed in the Ranger Regiment for three years until I sustained an injury, but if I had it to do again, I would not have changed one second of that time. For that time in my life I was surrounded by history making men that thought me how to be a prt of something bigger than me. It was an honor just serve and walk among such men of character, strength and endless knowledge of their craft. There were days when I nearly had to pinch myself, because it seem possible that I was a part of this organization. For what it is worth, thanks gentlemen. RTLW!
