Phillies' Domonic Brown likely to have hand surgery
Brown broke his non-throwing hand Saturday on a swing. He headed to Philadelphia Sunday morning to see hand specialist Randall Culp on Monday. If X-Rays, which show a broken hamate bone, are confirmed, surgery would be Tuesday.
With legions of Philadelphians heading south for some sunshine and a glimpse of their baseball team, Domonic Brown traveled in the opposite direction on Sunday. The Phillies' top prospect flew to Philadelphia, where he will have his broken right hand examined by specialist Randall Culp on Monday.
