About:

I am a transplant from Chesapeake Bay area in Virginia and came to Oregon with my wife in 1985 and promptly fell in love with the area making Portland my permanent home. I met my wife in 1980 while serving in the US Air Force and traveled with her to Italy where we lived for 3 ½ years and started our family there. My career of choice was electronics as that was my career field in the Air Force but when I returned stateside the electronics industry was downsizing. I became a real estate agent in November, 1990 working first for Township Properties in the Hollywood area of Portland and moving to Medak Realty in November, 2008. My in depth knowledge of the local market in the greater Portland area and ability to match buyers needs with suitable properties and neighborhoods, attention to the smallest details, and accurate price opinions are the foundation of my trade and I have excelled in these areas. I consider myself a ‘full-service’ realtor with a great network of mortgage lenders, contractors and home inspectors, while gathering bids and over-seeing home repairs, and helping buyers and sellers to understand the real estate transaction from beginning to end. I love being in real estate and my most fulfilling experiences are when I am honored to help people buy their first home, move up to larger homes or downsize to smaller ones.
