A side gate assembly for use with flatbed article transport vehicles of the character having longitudinally spaced apart stake receiving pockets disposed along the sides of the bed. The side gate assembly comprises a plurality of hingedly interconnected gates that can be easily moved from a securely locked position on the truck bed into a folded positioned so as to permit the vehicle to be loaded from the side, as for example, using a conventional forklift truck. The side gate assembly also includes a novel, easy-to-use locking means for releasably locking the assembly securely in position along the side of the transport vehicle.

Abstract:
A relatively impervious mechanical seal is formed between the outer surface of a tube and the inside surface of a mechanical fitting of a high pressure fluid or hydraulic system by applying a very thin soft metal layer onto the outer surface of the hard metal tube and/or inner surface of the hard metal fitting, prior to swaging the fitting onto the tube. The thickness of such thin metal layer is independent of the size of the tube and/or fittings. Many metals and alloys of those metals exhibit the requisite softness, including silver, gold, nickel, tin, platinum, indium, rhodium and cadmium. Suitably, the coating is about 0. 0025 millimeters (0. 10 mils) in thickness. After swaging, the tube and fitting combination exhibits very low leak rates on the order or 10. sup. -8 cubic centimeters per second or less as meaured using the Helium leak test.

An elevator and support device is disclosed wherein a required adjustment may be conveniently made by a single operator without substantially disturbing his position. Devices such as disclosed in the subject invention find application in the installation of ceiling tiles and other building materials usually attached to overhead rafters and ceiling beams. Prior art devices have been cumbersome and/or complicated and expensive and most have required at least two operators in order to effectuate a fine adjustment of the holding device. The present invention provides fine adjustment capabilities requiring the attention of only one operator.

Abstract:
The present invention is directed to an improved powder press assembly of the withdrawal die type that is capable of subjecting the frame and die set to only compressive forces while accurately maintaining the dimensions of a compacted part. Mechanical stops are provided in upper and lower ram assemblies and cooperate with a multifunction push rod assembly to provide bilateral press position. The high and low pressure hydraulic system provides an economical use of the power requirements and further includes a bypass valve in a main pressure cylinder to accommodate rapid movement of the upper ram assembly.

Abstract:
A composite cartridge casing having a plurality of component parts, which may be of dissimilar materials such as metal and plastic, includes a tubular casing body formed with a mouth portion for receiving a projectile and with a breech portion which has a cylindrical interior wall extending forwardly from an opening in its base. An annular bridge insert member has a forward cup portion which is receivable through the base opening into the casing body, a rearward skirt portion of reduced diameter, and a frusto-conical central portion connecting the cup and skirt portions. After insertion of the bridge insert, the breech portion of the casing body is deformed and reduced to engage the frusto-conical and skirt portions, thereby securing the assembly and forming an extraction groove around the base of the casing. A head assembly is then attached to the base to complete the casing.
A hair management process includes washing the hair and scalp, towel drying the hair and leaving the hair damp, applying an oil composition to the scalp, applying hair moisturizer to the hair and scalp, covering the hair with a cap, removing the cap and applying hair moisturizer to the hair, applying hair mousse on top of the moisturizer and styling the hair.
