Abstract:
A duty cycling switch for use with a furnace which mounts onto the exterior wall of the furnace plenum and opens and closes in response to the temperature of the plenum wall. The switch is adjusted to deactivate the burner when the plenum wall heats up to a temperature caused by the continuous operation of the burner for a predetermined period of time. The duty cycling switch acts to reactivate the burner when the plenum cools down below this temperature. A duty cycling switch for use with an air conditioner is also disclosed which mounts onto the plenum wall and opens and closes in response to the temperature of the plenum wall. It is adjusted to deactivate the compressor of an air conditioner unit when the plenum wall cools down to a temperature caused by continuous operation of the compressor for a first predetermined period of time and reactivates the compressor after the plenum wall exceeds this temperature. The furnace duty cycling switch is preferably an adjustable bimetal switch which opens on rise. The air conditioner duty cycling switch is a bimetal switch which closes on rise.
Adaptor For Mounting Temperature Sensitive Duty Cycling Control With Flexible Duct Work
An adaptor is designed to mount a duty cycling control switch for a furnace or air conditioning system which has flexible duct work. The adaptor includes two opposite cylindrical sections with a central section which includes an arcuate portion and a planar rectangular portion. The planar rectangular portion is tangential to the surfaces of the first and second cylindrical sections. The duty cycling control switch is mounted to this planar portion. Thus, air passing through the duct work will pass through this adaptor altering the temperature of the rectangular plate, thus, altering the temperature of the duty cycling switch causing it to activate.
A treatment for a fishing lure is formed by the combination of a water insoluble carrier such as silicone grease and a water soluble chemical composition. The water soluble chemical composition is one which upon solution with water generates heat. Particularly suitable chemical compositions include sodium hydroxide and magnesium chloride. The treatment is applied to a fishing lure such as a fly. The fly is cast into water and the physical action of the water causes the chemical composition to be exposed to water thereby dissolving the chemical composition. As the chemical composition dissolves it generates heat at the surface of the lure. This heat is detected by fish which strike at the lure. This treatment is effective for a wide variety of lures and for catching a wide variety of different fish species.

Abstract:
A quartz heater, an elongated, rectilinear heating element which lies in a horizontal position in front of a reflector in an improved housing designed to enable the outer surface of the housing to remain cool during operation without the aid of an active cooling system such as a fan or water cooling system. This is accomplished by drawing cooling air from beneath the heater to bathe both front and rear surfaces of the reflector and further preventing air in the front of the heater from being drawn into the heater. The cooling air upon entering the interior of the housing is divided into two flow paths, one of which exhausts at approximately a 45. degree. angle toward the front of the heater and the second exhausts directly from the top of the heater.
A heating system and air conditioning system incorporating a duty cycling control switch are disclosed. The duty cycling control switch for either the furnace or air conditioning system is mounted within the supply side duct of the system, i. e. , the hot air duct for a furnace or cold air duct for an air conditioner. The duty cycling control is a bi-metal switch totally enclosed within a case having a metal base whereby the heat from the air in the duct contacts the metal base which is transferred to a bi-metallic element which in turn opens or closes a switch. This makes the switch particularly responsive to gradual changes in the temperature of the output air but prevents the duty cycling switch from responding to rapid fluctuations of air temperature within the duct.

Corralled and constrained, Pakistan struggles to find feet against US

Similar to the 2011 Raymond Davis episode when an American citizen and a contractor for the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) was arrested in Lahore for killing two Pakistani nationals, this event will also tremendously feed the conspiracy theorists in the Pakistani military and the media.
The plan was to concoct a fictional Army putsch and use that as an excuse to oust the then current Army leadership. Then followed the embarrassing affair of the CIA's misbegotten Raymond Davis mission, and a general deterioration in relations. So the cumulative negative consequences of Obama's betra
