Abstract:

Computer system, method and program for routing. A nonencrypted message packet is received. In response, a payload in the message packet is read to determine if the payload contains sensitive information. If the payload contains sensitive information, the message packet is encrypted and subsequently, routed to a nonsecure communication path. If the payload does not contain sensitive information, the message packet is routed to a nonsecure communication path without encrypting the message packet. The payload can be read to determine if it contains sensitive information by determining a standard for a format of the message packet, and based on the standard, determining a location of data within the message packet and a type of the data at the location.

Abstract:

Methods of making a liquid crystal mixture essentially comprised of at least one fatty acid ester or fatty acid, at least one polyhydric solvent, and at least one alkali reactant. The resultant mixture includes at least one fatty acid ester or fatty acid, at least one polyhydric solvent, and at least one salt of said fatty acid ester or fatty acid. The resultant mixture exhibits enhanced stability and aqueous solubility of fatty acids and fatty acid esters. When medium chain fatty acid monoglycerides are used in the method, the resultant mixture exhibits antimicrobial efficacy.

Abstract:

Computer system, method and program for managing authentication requests. At a gateway device to a network, packets of a message intended for said network are received. In response, fields within payloads of said packets which contain authentication or authorization information are read. In response, the message is redirected to an authentication server. In response to receipt of the redirected message from the gateway device, the authentication server determines that a requester who sent the message to the gateway device is authorized to access a target resource specified in the message and responds to the gateway device that the requester is authorized to access the target resource. In response, the gateway device responds to the requester that the requester is authorized to access the target resource. In response to the response from the authentication server that the requester is authorized to access the target resource, the gateway device notifies a server hosting the target resource that the requester is authorized to access the target resource. If the gateway device receives a subsequent message from the requester to utilize the target resource, the gateway device forwards the message toward the server hosting the target resource.

Compositions and methods for the treatment of intestinal infections. Compositions that include a liquid crystal mixture of an antimicrobial glycerol fatty acid ester and a polyhydric alcohol inhibit the growth of numerous deleterious intestinal pathogenic bacteria, including is the causative agent in an increasing number of antibiotic-resistant bacterial infections. The formulations may be administered orally as capsules or soft gels, or alternatively as a enema, colonic, or rectal suppository. When combined with a probiotic supplement, the liquid crystal combinations reported here are able to treat an intestinal bacterial infection effectively and safely, thus promoting general intestinal health.

System, method and program product for monitoring a computer program or database maintained by a service provider for a customer. A multiplicity of failures of the computer program or data base during a reporting interval are identified. The times of the multiplicity of failures are compared to one or more scheduled maintenance windows. A determination is made that at least one of the multiplicity of failures occurred during the one or more scheduled maintenance windows. A determination is also made that the customer was responsible for at least another one of the multiplicity of failures. A determination is made that the service provider was responsible for a plurality of the failures not including the at least one failure occurring during the one or more scheduled maintenance windows and the at least another one failure for which the customer was responsible. A determination is made whether the service provider complied with a service level agreement based on the plurality of the outages. This may be based on a percent time each reporting interval that the computer program had failed based on durations of the plurality of failures. The computer program may need information from another computer program or other database to function normally. If this other computer program or other database failed during the reporting interval, and the customer was responsible for the failure of the other computer program or other database, the service provider is not charged for the failure of the first said computer program. A determination is made as to a monetary cost to a business of the customer for the plurality of said failures.
