I am a native Houstonian, educated in both public and private schools in Houston. He attended Louisiana State University where he met his wife of fifty four years, Dorothy. His studies in business administration were completed at the University of Houston. Dorothy and I have a son and daughter, and two grandsons. My family held investments in residential real estate in the Houston area which was his introduction to the real estate business at a very early age. I have handled all phases of the residential business including building from the ground up, rental and construction management and sales. Before entering the real estate business on a full time basis, I held sales and sales management positions with a Fortune 500 company. He was responsible for the southern half of the United States, the Caribbean, and all of Latin America. In addition I was also responsible for personnel recruitment and contract negotiations. Although licensed in 1972, I did not enter the real estate business until 1995 on a full time basis. I formed Alexander Hunter Properties, Inc., in 2000 and am the Broker of Record. I hold the real estate professional designations of: Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR), Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS), Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), and Graduate, Realtors Institute (GRI). I am a member of The National REO Brokers Association, The National Association of Realtors, The Texas Association of Realtors, The Houston Association of Realtors, and.
