A thermally conductive mechanically compliant pad including a quantity of gallium and/or indium alloy liquid at temperatures below about 120Â C. and a boron nitride particulate solid blended into the liquid metal alloy to form a paste. Devices and methods for managing a portion of an intravascular catheter which is extending from the body of a patient under operating room conditions (e. g. , while a physician is wearing surgical gloves). A catheter in accordance with one embodiment of the present invention includes a catheter shaft having a proximal end and a distal end, and a keeper fixed to the catheter proximate a proximal end thereof The keeper includes one or more inside surfaces defining a channel which is adapted to entrap a straight portion of the catheter shaft. Abstract:

A plurality of annular collars are provided formed from collar halves. The collar halves are at least partially separable from one another to allow the collar halves to be slipped into and around a groove in a grooved roller for a reel-type cutting unit. The collar halves can then be abutted and secured together to substantially fill in the roller groove. When collars are placed into the last two or three grooves on each end of a grooved roller, a non-shouldered grooved roller is thereby converted into a shouldered grooved roller without having to remove and replace one set of rollers with another.
