A drag reducer including a frame hinged to the rear of a vehicle and operable between a position adjacent the rear of the vehicle and a position swung away from the rear of the vehicle to allow access to the rear of the vehicle, and an inflatable bag attached to the frame, operable between a deployed inflated configuration and a stowed deflated configuration, the inflatable bag including at least two converging panels defining an aerodynamic drag reducing structure in the deployed inflated configuration.

Abstract:
A method is disclosed that includes introducing a substrate into a pre-aligner of a lithographic apparatus, using a detector to measure the location of an alignment mark provided on a side of the substrate which is opposite to the location of the detector, and after measurement, putting the substrate onto a substrate table of the lithographic apparatus, the substrate being positioned on the substrate table such that the alignment mark provided on the opposite side of the substrate is visible through a window of the substrate table.
Auxiliary Ambient Air Refrigeration System For Cooling And Controlling Humidity In An Enclosure
An auxiliary ambient air refrigeration system for cooling and controlling humidity in an enclosure including a conventional refrigeration unit for providing cool refrigerated air to the enclosure, an auxiliary refrigeration unit for providing cool ambient air to the enclosure, a first sensor unit for sensing air temperature and humidity inside the enclosure, a second sensor unit for sensing ambient air temperature and humidity; and a controller responsive to the sensor units and their indicated dew points of the enclosure air and the ambient air for enabling the auxiliary refrigeration unit to provide cool ambient air to the enclosure when temperature inside the enclosure is above a first predetermined temperature, the ambient temperature is less than the enclosure temperature by a predetermined differential temperature and the dew point of the ambient air is matched to the dew point range of the air in the enclosure.

Abstract:
A fluid delivery system for aspirating liquid from a bottle and conveying the liquid to an analytical instrument while allowing ambient air or gas to enter the bottle to replace the aspirated liquid. The bottle opening is sealed by a valve. A tube extends from the valve to the liquid within the bottle. A coupling component is removably connected to the analytical instrument anti to the valve for operatively connecting the instrument to the tube.
The invention pertains to an auxiliary outside air refrigeration system for use in combination with a conventional refrigeration system to supply refrigeration to an enclosure whereby cold outside air is used as the cooling medium. A differential thermostatic controller monitors the temperature inside the enclosure and in the outside atmosphere and, if the temperature inside the enclosure indicated the need for refrigeration, activates the fans of the auxiliary outside air system whenever the temperature differential between inside and outside indicates adequate potential for refrigeration. The conventional refrigeration system is energized only when the more energy-efficient outside air refrigeration system is not able to maintain adequate refrigeration within the enclosure. The controller can be used for an auxiliary outside air refrigeration system using direct exchange of air between the enclosure and the outside atmosphere or one using an air-to air heat exchanger.

Abstract:
A cap assembly for receiving a stopper and for application to the threaded neck of a bottle. The cap assembly includes a cap and a thrust washer. The cap has an end wall which has a central aperture and a circular side wall which has internal threads. The thrust washer has a base wall with a central aperture and a side wall which has a ridge at its outer end. The thrust washer lies within the side wall of the cap so that the base wall engages the end wall and the side wall extends through the aperture in the end wall and the ridge engages the outer surface of the end wall to retain tile thrust washer on the cap. Tile side wall of the thrust washer is resiliently yieldable to enable the ridge to disengage from the end wall to release the thrust washer from the cap.

November 2016: Home Secretary Amber Rudd wins High Court order preventing disclosure of sensitive material at the forthcoming inquest. The ruling says the position of the current Coroner, Richard Travers, was 'untenable' because he did not have security clearance.
