home opener was unmistakable. Feeding off last years success, fans flooded into Camden Yards once the gates opened three hours before first pitch. Hall of Famer Jim Palmer threw out the first pitch to Rick Dempsey. Players ran down the orange carpet to cheers as fireworks went off above them.
