Each layer has pie-type sections with an opening on its outside portion to insert or remove shoes. Each section is sloped downward slightly toward the center and is ridged on the outside bottom portion of each opening to help secure the shoes especially during rotation of the rack. The section angular size may vary in degrees to suit the needs of variation in women's shoe heels. The number of layers may vary to suit the needs of the number of shoes to be stored. The sections are structured so that the toes of the shoes are to be placed toward the center of the section, shoes placed sole to sole, and heels on the outer portion of the section.

  • Appl. No.:
    7/406454
  • Inventors:
Rita J. Platti - Stockton CA
  • International Classification:

Likewise, the top is raised from the back, and the front lowered, on hinges. Handles are optional, but help with lifting the box. Thus handles are shown on the top, front and sides of the box. The closing of the box tend to compact the material gathered. The box is designed to open easily, close easily, carry easily and dump easily. The box may vary in size to suit the needs of the gardener. Also, some variation in shape and detail may be made as long as the essence and the purpose of the box is there, namely to assist the raking gathering of the debris.
  • Garment Hanger With Adjustable Hook

    view source
  • US Patent:
    50525999, Oct 1, 1991
  • Filed:
    Aug 17, 1989
  • Appl. No.:
    7/395087
  • Inventors:
Rita J. Platti - Stockton CA
  • International Classification:
    A47G 2540
    A47G 2514
  • US Classification:
    223 89
  • Abstract:
The adjustable clothes hanger includes two divergent shoulder portions connected to a crossbar at their ends thereof to be assembled with a pair of generally elongated tubular-shaped movable parts with an open channel at a bottom wherein the open channels of each said movable parts are closed at the inner ends thereof to provide a stopping device as well as strength and stability. The movable parts slide manually. The slidable fittings are loose enough to slide easily, yet tight enough to secure desired position. The shoulder width of the hanger is thereby changed by the expansion or contraction of the movable parts. The hanger thus accommodates a variety of garment sizes. The adjustable principle can also be applied to a singular set of divergent shoulder portions with tubular-shaped movable parts. The adjustable principle can also be applied to two or three cross bar hangers, wherein U-shaped extensions provide for expansion and contraction of the hanger width. Widened shoulder sections on the movable parts are used to support a garment better.
