Abstract:

Embodiments for targeting information to a website visitor are disclosed. One method includes collecting behavioral data of a plurality of users from a plurality of websites. The collected behavioral data is analyzed. For this embodiment, analyzing the collected behavior data includes clustering the collected behavioral data according to behavioral factors wherein collected behavioral data within each cluster include at least one common statistic, and collected behavioral data of different clusters have at least one differentiating statistic. Further, a server collects present user data while a present user is visiting a target website. The present user data is matched with at least one of the clusters of behavior factors based on a comparative analysis of the present user data with the clustered behavior factors. While the present user is still visiting the present website, targeted information is generated and displayed to the present user based on the at least one clustered behavior factor matched to the present user data.

Abstract:

A computer controlled video re-editing system with a "Domino" re-edit function. An edited video comprises a set of ordered video segments. In a video re-editing system a user can re-edit an edited video by adjusting the duration of each video segment. When a user adjusts the length of a video segment, the Domino re-edit function examines how the re-edit to the edited video work affects nearby video segments in the edited video work. The Domino re-edit function then propagates the effects of a re-edit by moving the nearby video segments forward or backward along a time line to accommodate the re-edit made. The Domino re-edit function utilizes any empty spaces that exist in an edited video work such that the empty spaces are filled before the effects of a re-edit are propagated to another video segment. If there is sufficient empty space between video segments, the effects of the re-edit cease propagating. To prevent a video segment from being moved by the Domino re-edit function, a user can "lock" the video segment to a reference time line.

Abstract:

A system for facilitating payment and non-payment transactions between a computing device that lacks an activated payment application and a merchant is described. In an embodiment, a transaction bridge server receives, from a merchant server, transaction information for a particular transaction between a user and a merchant. The transaction bridge server generates a URL representing the particular transaction, sends the URL to the merchant server, and receives, from a web browser of a computing device, an indication of an interaction between the computing device and a touchpoint comprising the URL, the indication comprising a request to access the URL. The transaction bridge server generates a display page customized for the user, the display page comprising the transaction information, sends the display page to the web browser of the computing device, receives an acceptance of the particular transaction, and initiates the particular transaction.
