Abstract:
A folding play yard includes a collapsible play yard frame movable between a retracted stored position and a deployed position, wherein the frame defines a baby receiving portion in the deployed position with a floor and bordering side walls around the periphery of the floor, wherein the frame includes a plurality of corner posts forming at least a portion of a support for the side walls with the play yard in the deployed position, wherein the corner posts are constructed to remain substantially parallel to a vertical axis of the play yard as the play yard moves between the closed and the open position.

Abstract:
A safety bathtub spout cover includes a soft exterior spout receiving hollow body. A temperature sensor mechanism is positioned within the water flow within the hollow body. The temperature sensor mechanism is coupled to a temperature display and an audible temperature alarm on the hollow body to signal unsafe temperature conditions sensed by the temperature sensor mechanism. A child-proof manual override may be provided for disengaging the audible alarm. The body may further include a closing mechanism for attaching the spout cover to the faucet in a temporary, non-marring, non-residue attachment manner. The audible alarm may be a progressive audible temperature alarm with varied levels of activation corresponding to the severity of the scald condition sensed. The display is mounted in a manner visible from any viewing height above the faucet. The spout cover features may be incorporated directly into a safety spout.

Abstract:
A child enclosure apparatus that includes a hub assembly, a base assembly having four base legs in an X-shaped configuration, a side structure having four side posts, an upper assembly having four pairs of upper arms with each pair connected with medial latch connectors, lower corner assemblies, each having a pair of plates that are pivotally mounted to a side post and a pair of base legs, upper corner assemblies, each having two pair of plates that are configured at a right angle to each other, and cables extending from the base assemblies, through the side posts and being connected to the upper arms and to the latch connectors. The enclosure apparatus is operated by linear movement of the hub assembly, either by a motor assembly or manually, to cause simultaneous movement of the base legs, the upper arms and the latch connectors between opened and folded positions by tensioning the cables. The lower corner assemblies are pivotally connected to the side posts and the base legs so as to prevent unintended opening of the enclosure from a folded position.
Thermally Buffered, Circulating Clean Water Flow, Universal, Temperature Indicating Baby Bathing Tub
Henry F Thorne - West View PA, US Robert D Daley - Pittsburgh PA, US
Assignee:
Thorley Industries LLC - Pittsburgh PA
International Classification:
A47K 3/024
US Classification:

Abstract:
A thermally buffered baby bathing tub includes a tub body, a baby bathing portion formed in the tub body, configured to receive a baby to be bathed therein and bathing water from a source of bathing water therein, and a reservoir formed in the tub body having a reservoir weir exiting the reservoir into the baby bathing portion, wherein baby bathing portion is configured to receive the bathing water from the source of bathing water through the reservoir and the reservoir weir, whereby the reservoir will provide a thermal buffer for the bathing water between the source of bathing water and the baby bathing portion. A clean water flow baby bathing tub further includes a bathing height regulating hole in the sidewall thereof spaced from the floor and configured to define the conventional bathing height of the bath in the baby bathing portion.
Remote Shower Actuation And Temperature Sensing Unit

Assignee:
Thorley Industries LLC - Pittsburgh PA
International Classification:
G05D 23/13 G05D 7/00
US Classification:
236 1212, 236 121, 700282
Abstract:
A remote shower actuator and temperature sensing unit installs in a shower having a shower head in a water line that is downstream of hot and cold water mixing for the shower. The shower actuator includes a battery powered wireless actuated blocking valve, a digital temperature sensor mechanism, a temperature indicating mechanism and generally two independent one wireless controllers. The valve may move between a closed position, an open position and a trickle flow position. The trickle flow position is a significantly reduced flow in response to a potentially hazardous temperature reading. The temperature indicating mechanism may be a visible display on the controllers that constantly displays the measured temperatures, or may be a visible or audible indicator on the controllers that identifies that the flowing water temperature has reached an acceptable steady state temperature, or a combination of the two.

The season begins with "USS Calister," an episode named after a virtual reality, Star Trek-esque ship run by a captain who, back on earth, is actually an oft-teased start-up employee named Robert Daley, who's wont to board the Callister and live out a much glossier and more exciting version of his r
We start with a straight-faced parody of Shatner-era Star Trek, with Robert Daley (Jesse Plemons) in the captains seat. Daley and the rest of the U.S.S. Callister crew are tracking an outlaw named Valdak, who has made off with a precious crystal and now taunts Daley in extremely Khan-like fashion. Valdak escapes his exploding ship to a nearby planet, but theres no time to chase him right now. Instead, Robert Daley has to go to work at his job in real life. This episode is set in a slightly futuristic world with improved technology, such as the virtual reality multiplayer online video game In
light, a social outcast reduced to making his action figures say theyll be his friends. But much in the same way that recent years have seen the nerd community eagerly assume the role of the bully after being bullied themselves, so too does Robert Daley prove to be more sadist than sad sack.
